A study published in the American Journal of Occupational Therapy¹ reported a 19–25% increase in on-task behavior during classroom activities for children with attention difficulties when wearing a prototype weighted vest.
This research was done by N. VandenBerg, MS, OTR, an occupational therapist and through Western Michigan University and the Plainwell Public school system. One out of ten children were going to the office for attention medication.
